REDKEN SYMPOSIUM 2024 CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

  1. ELIGIBILITY: There is no obligation to you, monetary or otherwise, for a chance to win.  You must be an active employee in good standing with HC Salon Holdings, Inc. at the time of entry and at the time the prize is delivered.  Entrants are limited to Salon Professionals, Assistant Salon Leaders and Salon Leaders employed by Sponsor during the Entry Period (the “Entrants”) in all Hair CutteryⓇ salons.  Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Contest. 

  1. SPONSOR: HC Salon Holdings, Inc. is the sponsor (the “Sponsor”).  The prize supplier is L’Oreal.  

  1. TIME TO ENTER: A chance to win the prizes in the 2024 Redken Symposium Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 12:00:01 a.m. EST on March 4, 2024, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on May 26, 2024 (the “Entry Period”).  

  1. HOW TO ENTER/WIN. Each qualifying Salon Professional, Assistant Salon Leader or Salon Leader must meet the following criteria to win: 

Criteria:

  • Maintain a minimum of $1,500 average service sales during the Entry Period
  • Be continuously employed in position since March 6, 2023

     

     

One individual from each District with the Top Color Revenue Dollars Over Last Year (LY baseline: 3/6/23 – 6/4/23 excluding lowest week) Wins!  (29 winners) 

Additionally, the Top Stylist in the company with the highest color units during the Entry Period wins! (1 winner).  There is no position qualifier for the Top Stylist prize.

  1. PRIZE:

An all expense paid trip to Nashville, TN, including hotel, meals and transportation (dual occupancy with another winner) to attend the 2024 Redken Symposium from June 23 – June 24, 2024 (2-day Symposium ticket value is $1,390.00).  Winners will be paid their average hourly rate for each day based on each Associate’s daily average hours in their salon with a maximum of 8 hours per day for the 2-day event.

Winners will be notified on or before May 30, 2024.

  1. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Limit of one (1) prize per person and salon.
    Prizes are non-negotiable and cannot be exchanged for credit or merchandise and may not be extended, transferred or substituted, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value when necessary, as determined at its sole discretion.  If a winner is unable to attend, the next qualifying Entrant will be selected as the winner. 

 

  1. NO LIABILITY:
    Entrants and winners, by their participation in the Contest and/or acceptance of their prize, except as prohibited by law, agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, the product suppliers, the prize supplier, the Sponsor Entities, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions and affiliates, and each of their employees, directors, officers, representatives, agents, managers, attorneys and advertisers (collectively, the “    Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by any Entrant, prize winner, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Contest, as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in any promotion related activity or participation in this Contest.  Each individual winner assumes all applicable federal, state and local tax liability for their prize.  Any Entrant will be disqualified from winning a prize if the Sponsor deems, in its sole discretion, that such Entrant interfered with the Contest.  By participating in the Contest you agree that the Sponsor shall be entitled to use your likeness or name in any promotional materials or other advertising without further consent or compensation in perpetuity and each shall have the unlimited right throughout the universe to use such information.

  1. MISCELLANEOUS:
    Entrants agree to be bound by these rules.  Contest rules shall be governed and enforced pursuant to Virginia law, excluding choice of law provisions.  Offer void where prohibited or restricted and subject to federal and state laws.  For the name of the prize winner(s) or a copy of these Official Rules, please email     [email protected] and you will be given information on where to send a self-addressed, stamped envelope.  You must do so by June 30, 2024.  Please include in the subject line of the email: “2024 Redken Symposium Contest” (please specify “Winner’s List” or “Rules Request”).
